Press any song
into a coin.
SongPad is a record store where every song can be minted. Browse like you would in your music app, hit play, and when a track moves you, press it on pons (Robinhood Chain) and let the market decide.
Search the whole catalog or dig through the charts. Every track plays a 30-second preview right in the player.
Hit Tokenize. We press a record-shaped logo from the cover art, you pick the ticker, and your wallet launches the coin on pons. One coin per song, first press wins.
Every coin starts on a pons bonding curve against ETH. Buy and sell right on the song's page. At 4.2 ETH the curve graduates to a Uniswap v4 pool.
Each trade pays pons' 1% fee. 0.7 of that 1% is held in pons' fee escrow for the artist. When they show up and prove who they are, it's theirs.
Questions
Is this a share of the song or its royalties?+
No. A song coin is a fan-made meme coin named after a song. It carries no rights to the recording, the composition, or any royalties, and no artist or label endorses it unless they claim theirs.
Where does the artist's cut sit?+
Every coin is launched with the same fee recipient, a wallet SongPad holds on the artists' behalf. pons' fee escrow tracks each coin's balance on-chain, so anyone can check what's owed to whom.
How does an artist claim?+
Open the coin and tap “Are you the artist?”. Send proof (a post from a verified account, a note from your label or distributor) and a payout wallet. A person checks it before anything moves. Artists can also ask for a coin to be delisted.
What stops fake listings?+
The server never trusts the browser. A coin only appears once the launch transaction itself proves it came from this site, names the song, pays fees to the artist wallet, and has no extra tax or buyback. Song details come straight from the catalog.
What does it cost?+
pons charges a 0.0005 ETH launch fee plus gas. An optional first buy goes straight onto the curve. SongPad adds nothing on top.
